In Loving Memory of Work is a personal book project by Craig Oldham, cataloguing some of the most iconic imagery of the 1984/5 British miner strikes that furnished the picket lines at the time. Craig even went so far as to produce versions of the cover type printed using ink infused with real coal.
You can watch a short (and profanity-laden) talk about the project for It’s Nice That, where Craig details just how personal the project is and why he felt it was an important subject to tackle. Be warned, the video features very strong language.
