I love getting submissions that are a little out of the ordinary, and this piece is a great example.
Created by Belgian design studio Brussels Lof (check out some of their previous features, a transparent catalogue and a book without ink), this piece is a poem entitled BEAM (in Dutch, “BALK”) laser etched onto abachi wood and bound in leather.
The result is a book-like construction, consisting of only two leaves, that also double as the front and back boards of the “book”. What do you think?
