Zines by Octagon is a project by artist & graphic designer Aggie Toppins, who currently resides in Chattanooga. Aggie uses visual narrative to explore themes related to memory, mortality, myth, and hyperreality through her zines.

She describes them as “culturally critical publications that seek to engage readers in a kind of semiological playground in which meaning is a shared experience between author and reader.”

Check out the Zines by Octagon site for details of individual zines (as well as purchase links). You can also buy Holy Bible and Junk Food #2 from Quimby’s in Chicago.
